Privacy Policy

Before you publish this page: this is a starting template written to reflect standard UK/EU GDPR practice, not legal advice. Company details below are pulled from the Companies House register, but have a solicitor review the page as a whole, and update it if you add analytics, ad pixels, or other tracking technology to the site.
1. Data controller
Likewise PPC, a trading name of Likewise Enterprise Ltd (company number 17160887) of Bartle House, 9 Oxford Court, Manchester, England, M2 3WQ, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact us at hello@likewiseppc.com with any privacy questions.
2. What we collect
We collect the information you choose to give us: your name, email, and any details you share when you email us, fill in our contact or audit request forms, or book a call through our Google Calendar booking page. We don't currently run analytics or advertising tracking scripts on this site — if that changes, we'll update this policy and add a cookie notice before any non-essential tracking goes live.
3. How we use it and our legal basis
We use your details to respond to enquiries, schedule and run strategy calls, and, where you've agreed, to send relevant follow-up about our services. We rely on your consent when you contact us or book a call, and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries sent to us directly.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The site itself does not set marketing or analytics cookies at this time. Google Calendar, which powers our booking page, and Google Fonts assets are served from our own domain rather than loaded live from Google, to minimise third-party data sharing. If we later add tools such as Google Analytics or a Meta Pixel for remarketing, we'll disclose that here and request consent where required.
5. Testimonials
Where we publish a testimonial, review, or recommendation, it includes the name and title of the person who gave it, at their request or with their explicit permission. We process this on the basis of their consent. You can ask us to remove, anonymise, or update a testimonial you've given at any time by emailing hello@likewiseppc.com.
6. Who we share data with
Booking requests are processed through Google Calendar, and contact/audit form submissions through Netlify Forms, under each provider's own privacy terms. We don't sell personal data, and we only share it with service providers (such as email or hosting providers) as needed to run the business, under appropriate confidentiality terms.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking details for as long as needed to respond to you and, where you become a client, for the duration of our engagement plus a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and legal purposes.
8. International transfers
Where data is processed outside your country (for example, by Google's or Netlify's global infrastructure), we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place, such as standard contractual clauses.
9. Your rights
If UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies to you, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@likewiseppc.com.
10. Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, we'd like the chance to put it right — but you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or our tools change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
